Begin Seeing Life From A Different Perspective

Sometimes it is really hard to reach a new realization… in order to begin healing your inner mind and inner body. In a way, you need to get out of the weeds, rise above all the noise and have a 30,000 foot view… or higher…

Let’s talk about some chosen few who got to experience the world from the highest point of view… and never looked at the world, and life the same way…

Dr. Mitchell was a research scientist from MIT, a test pilot and a highly accomplished astronaut who spent longer on the moon than anyone else at that time. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, inducted into the International Space Hall of Fame and honored as the Kappa Sigma Man of the Year.

This year of 2016, America’s foremost astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, passed away, leaving a beacon of planetary consciousness for posterity, IONS, the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a research and educational institute around being on a planetary and cosmic scale (Noetic is Greek for being).

From Outer Space to Inner Space

Don’t we all secretly desire to connect to this Higher Consciousness that has no borders or limitations? A type of consciousness where our negative mind can no longer operate from… and mislead us… or slow us down!?

Dr. Mitchell was convinced through earlier experiences that inner space was just as important as outer space, practicing Transcendental Meditation [TM]. He practiced remote healing and did psychic experiments from near space. He even had a Tibetan Lama heal his mother.

However, the turning point in his life came, not on the two-day stay on the lunar surface, but on the return flight where his capsule was rotating on its way home to revel in a 360-degree view of the Universe, intermittently gazing at our gorgeous, blue Planet.

You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, and an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look petty.

He later described the experience as the advanced state in yoga of Sahaja Samadhi, where you directly feel one with everything, and yet you can still function. As you look down on our Planet, all the political, economic, social and cultural distinctions instantly evaporate. As the earlier astronaut, Rusty Schweikart put it, “No frames, no boundaries.”

cosmic consciousness

Astronauts have formed associations for everyone who has gone into near space. They feel somehow as if they are the eyes of Earth, that they are there “for all mankind.” Rusty Schweikart wondered, “What did I ever do to deserve an experience like this?

Most of them have enjoyed mystical experiences, what has been called “the overview effect.” When they return from space, they wonder what they are going to do with their lives. Nothing else really matters anymore.

How Space Exploration Changed Their Lives

Dr. Mitchell was one man who totally followed through with this vision. He created IONS to systematically research psychic phenomena, developing one of the most sophisticated labs in the world with lead shields and double-blind tests.

Dr. Dean Radin now heads this up, featured in the award-winning cult film with Marlee Mattson, What the Bleep!? Dr. Radin shares that academicians from all over the world come to him, as his lectures are packed, totally wrapped up in what he has to say. They are hesitant to go back to their universities and spill the beans, lest they lose their professional credibility.

Seeing Life In Different Ways

Edgar had total faith that he would shift consensual agreement, such that people in institutional power would begin to see life in the Universe in fundamentally different ways. It is not an accident that President Bill Clinton was elected in 1992 popularizing the New Paradigm, or that Al Gore joined him as Vice President to build the “Global Super Highway.”

Dr. Mitchell went on to take strong positions around possibility. He grew up near Roswell, New Mexico, where, in 1947, an alleged UFO crashed. Under federal investigation, severe silence was imposed and all the evidence was declared Top Secret.

When Dr. Mitchell returned to his hometown from having walked on the Moon, the local authorities came forth and shared with him that they had actually buried aliens. Dr. Mitchell went on to declare over the decades that UFO’s were almost certainly real.

He even conjectured that UFO’s were involved in preventing thermonuclear exchange, that the button had been pushed, and nothing happened. We might easily discount this were it not that Dr. Mitchell enjoyed the very highest clearances with the Pentagon and the covert apparatus of the United States of America.

Toward his final days in his 80’s, Edgar shared his vision of creating a world federation with greater clout than the current United Nations to form a true world government. He looked very far into the future, envisioning the need to evacuate our planet millions of years from now when the aging sun expands to consume the earth. It was his hope that, by then, humanity would be inhabiting planets in other star systems, perhaps other galaxies.

Open your mind + see a bigger picture = and you’ll tap into the frequency of limitless possibilities (that benefits and includes not only you, but everyone around you).

In order to operate from a frame of limitless possibilities (and inner power) we must step out of our day-to-day reality and look at the world in a different way.

Here is a very interesting documentary of a man who altered our view of reality…

Your Inner Power Can Lead To Transformation

For instance, Richard Branson formed Virgin Space to construct a commercial space liner that will allow people who make six-figure commitments to have a first-hand experience of weightlessness, of viewing our stunning blue jewel (earth) from near space. Richard is clearly into planetary transformation, seeking ways to make the elite astronauts’ experience more widely available.

However, you don’t need to go to outer experience. Try inner space. Like Dr. Mitchell, you can practice TM, or any other form of systematic prayer or meditation. You can practice becoming One with our Infinite Intelligence… to realize that our Source is our only true and ultimate Self. Let the transformation begin within and spill outwards.

You can also be one of the early ones to hit the Internet and put your mobile devices to good use by organizing a planetary citizenship movement. You need not buy into any perceived limitation of age, race, gender, sexual persuasion or religion.

You can speak out, “I am a global citizen – not limited to one country and one belief or religion.” Go beyond Arab Spring and Occupy Wall Street. Go beyond Donald Trump on the right, and Bernie Sanders on the left. Advocate Planet Earth, herself. Who knows, maybe generations from now, your name will be cherished by multitudes for saving the world.
